BIG FUN! -- Record Your Own "Red Solo Cup" Mash-Up -- Win Some Of Toby Keith's SWAG!

Okay -- I've previously posted links to a "2G1C Joe Denim/Joe Dirty" version, a "$ick$wag" hip-hop version, and a hockey-fan's version of various "Red Solo Cup" remixes I've seen, right here on this diary.

Now. . . you (right there at home, or at work!) have a chance to make your own, and see it "remixed" -- by Toby Keith his-s-s-self -- and released on his website, and his Official Facebook page.

I am certain some of the Solo Cup plant workers (and ex-workers) in Champaign, IL, Ford City, IL, Springfield, MO, North Andover, MD, or Social Circle, GA would be able to shoot a really cool one (with their iPhones' HD video capture function) -- if they added some smi-autghorized (third shift?) footage -- from inside one of the the plants, itself! [Those shiny red cups, just minted, and rolling down the line in endless armies of good-drinkin' fun!] C'mon folks -- show-case your abilities! [It is ALSO a certainty that no one needs formal vocal training in order to sing along with this decidedly low-minded ditty!]

Come to think of it -- I actually think Dart ought to sponsor an official "pre-merger" version of the song, and co-brand it -- for submission to Mr. Keith's people. Time to ride these 15 minutes -- given that we are probably well-into minute 13 already, on this particular Country and Western drinking meme/song.

Who can participate?
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 13.

How do I enter the competition?
You must submit a mashup, and in order to do it you will be asked to approve the free Audish application.

Can I participate without recording a mashup?
No.

Can I submit a mashup for any of Toby Keith's songs?
No. Only for Red Solo Cup.

How do I record my mashup?
Click the big "Make a Mashup" button and you will be guided through. It's really easy - just like karaoke.

Can I upload my mashup from a file?
No.

Can I submit more than one mashup?
Yes, as many as you want.

Can I delete one or all of my mashups?
Sure. Go to the "My Mashups" tab and click the trash icon near the mashup you want to delete.

What kind of mashups are allowed?
Only honest attempts to sing "Red Solo cup" will be allowed. Any inappropriate recordings (such as indecent or mocking videos) will be removed immediately without notice and their creators will be barred.

How are winners selected?
Winners will be selected from those who get the most "likes".

Am I guaranteed to win if I get the most likes?
No, but it increases your chances significantly. So share your mashup and get your friends to like it.

When will winners be announced?
Winners will be announced during July 2012.

How will I know if I am a winner?
Winners will be contacted through the Facebook messaging system. They will be asked to call a telephone number for confirmation and will be given further instructions.

What are the prizes?
The first place prize is 2 concert tickets and meet and greet passes and second place prize is an autographed album.

What if my winning mashup is a duet I've made with my friend?
Then both of you will go - as we give a a pair of tickets.

And what if we were a trio or more?
Then you'll have to decide which two of you are going - we are only giving a pair.

How do I collect a prize?
We will coordinate that directly with the winners.

Can I still submit mashups after winners have been announced?
Of course! You will not win anything, but it's lots of fun and you'll get a great audience for your talent.
