From a local paper, in Northern Illinois, yesterday, then:
". . . .[Country & Western recording artistToby] Keith heard the song and pronounced it 'the stupidest song I ever heard in my life. . . .'
Indeed. That -- given the below posts -- does sum up the company, nearly perfectly.
I am certain that lots of very good people work in the rank and file roles at Solo, but the leadership. . . well, that's another story:
"Proceed to party, dude!" The rest of the rank-and-file, many of whom have given their entire working lives to Solo? Not. So. Much.
[UPDATED: This latest news -- of a potential instruction to sell the company -- and bonuses to a small number of high executives, to get it done -- is extremely unfortunate -- and almost the inverse of Toby Keith's hit-single ode to the company's flagship product, right?]
